SEALTEC offers a full line of hot tap and wet tap services to all of our customers. The terms hot tap and wet tap are virtually the same process, but wet taps are just considered water. Hot taps can be on any line or service including gas, oil, steam, and virtually contents. A hot tap is performed when a customer needs an additional branch off of an existing line to tie in another system. This is performed by installing a saddle with a valve, then drilling through the existing line. From small water line taps in commercial buildings to 24″ taps on mains Sealtec can perform them all!
